"Am changing my review to 5 star as things been changed recently service and food improved "If you dine in they won't clean tables in my last 3 visits I have cleaned my own table. Food is not fresh disgusting as compare to their other El Jannah branches. This branch is the worst representation of their brand.

I had an excellent experience trying this place for the first time. The food was outstanding, and I want to commend the staff, especially the wonderful lady at the counter. Despite being busy with tables, she took my order with a smile. I ordered the $5 chicken roll (promo), and it was both delicious and a great value. Keep up the fantastic work!

This store is much smaller than the Pakenham one. Very busy and hard to get a table. Maybe no more then 10 tables? We arrived at about 3.45 and was still very busy. It's such a popular place!Everything we ordered came out quick and was delicious.Fried wings were crispy and tasty, Chips are salty and cooked to perfection. Yum!!! Charcoal chicken is tasty, and the fatoush salad is a great side. They need to move quicker on cleaning/clearing tables as we had to do it ourselves. If I was them, I would buy a bigger building. Such a hit in Dandenong.

Very nice food. And very good service I lost my house key and I went to the car and realised I came back 10 minutes later and I asked the worker did anyone give a key and they had the key shout out to that worker.

Ordered the chicken chips pita bread and dip. Thoroughly enjoyed the flavour and succulence of the chicken. I was worried that it may be too dry but my fears were unwarranted. Will be going back for this meal without hesitation.

They charge the same prices for charcoal chicken as other family run stores which is quite impressive considering this is a chain. You definitely need to come here between 11-5pm if you want great food. if you come later than that you’ll most likely get dry boring food.Service has always been amazing at this store, manager is super sweet and staff too. Witnessed a staff member help an Uber eats driver take all the food to their car.

I was intrigued when an El Jannah restaurant opened up near me, as I had never heard of it before. I went there to discover it’s a charcoal chicken of Lebanese style which is chicken typically marinated in a blend of spices, including garlic, lemon, and various herbs, cooked over char grill giving it a smoky aromatic taste.I wanted to try it how it comes el naturale… which is with a side of garlic sauce aka toum. In my initial experience, I found this garlic sauce overwhelming and rich and not complimentary. Whilst the chicken is unique and tasty, due to the cooking method it doesn’t have the moistness and juiciness to hold up with the richness and intensity of the garlic sauce which made it challenging to finish the meal as it becomes monotonous and overwhelming. On my return I experimented with a variety of sauces, BBQ, gravy, and sweet/spicy and I must say any one of the sauces combined with the standard meal elevates it to the next level. The addition of different sauces balanced out the intensity of the garlic sauce. The gravy I find quite uniquely flavoured and adds a savoury richness. While you do need to pay extra for sauce, you can add the BBQ sauce for just $1 extra but in my opinion, it needs this.I find the portion sizes quite good and there is no issue to request the breast piece if ordering a quarter chicken. I did sample a piece of fried chicken and it was very overly breaded and not that enjoyable so ill stick with the specialty which is the charcoal chicken. Something also needs to be said also for cleanliness as I have never found the tables to be cleared or wiped of crumbs and grease.Update Aug 2024Over time as I have become accustomed to the flavour of El Janna charcoal chicken I must say I have become somewhat addicted to it. I’m often craving the unique taste and it has become my regular. Also over time I think quality has improved, it is often much more moist than previously mentioned and can hold its own. It’s pretty much the only ‘takeaway’ that I eat now, I’m very happy to have El Jannah close by and I have upgraded my review rating ❤️
