I've been going to El Jannah for almost 30 years, ever since the OG store in Granville, Sydney, so I know exactly what to expect, and the South Yarra store (along with every other Melbourne location I've tried) nails it every single time. The charcoal chicken is always hot, tender, and full of flavor, with the same consistency and freshness, I remember from the very beginning. And that garlic sauce? Exactly the same as the original — no compromises. I'm so proud and delighted that el jannah has made its way to Melbourne. I go every single week and hope it's here to stay for many years to come.
