This is the restaurant I’ve been seeing all the time on the way returning from hiking, but never thought about to stop by. Recently, their advertising is everywhere, and I finally made my first visit.
I went there with another friend, and we ordered a 1/4 chicken meal and a chilli grilled chicken roll. The girl at the counter kindly asked if I wanted the breast quarter or the leg quarter. I’ve never been asked about this in a roast chicken restaurant. It’s nice to have a choice.
The chicken meal came with a chips and a garlic sauce. The garlic mayonnaise is DEVINE! It is creamy but not great, and the fresh garlic flavour shinning through, pairing the grilled chicken perfectly. The chicken had crispy skin but the meat was tender and juicy, like those you would expect from a more expensive restaurant.
The chicken roll was wrapped in a flatbread, grilled to crumbly crispy. The filling was spicy and the pickles brought a bit kick to cut through.
Price wise, it is a little higher than regular Nados, much higher than GYG, and about the same as Grilled.
Flavour and the food quality are both above the previous 3.
Portion size wise, the roll is big enough to feed a normal girl, but I’ve seen guys ordered about 2.5times as much to make it a meal.
I will probably come back again after next hiking.
