Every mouthful was just as amazing as the last. I was doing a happy dance the whole time I was eating. I 1000% recommend everybody do themselves a favor and go and try the quarter chicken and chips with garlic sauce on the side. You will be thanking me for the recommendation I promise you.

This is the restaurant I’ve been seeing all the time on the way returning from hiking, but never thought about to stop by. Recently, their advertising is everywhere, and I finally made my first visit.
I went there with another friend, and we ordered a 1/4 chicken meal and a chilli grilled chicken roll. The girl at the counter kindly asked if I wanted the breast quarter or the leg quarter. I’ve never been asked about this in a roast chicken restaurant. It’s nice to have a choice.
The chicken meal came with a chips and a garlic sauce. The garlic mayonnaise is DEVINE! It is creamy but not great, and the fresh garlic flavour shinning through, pairing the grilled chicken perfectly. The chicken had crispy skin but the meat was tender and juicy, like those you would expect from a more expensive restaurant.
The chicken roll was wrapped in a flatbread, grilled to crumbly crispy. The filling was spicy and the pickles brought a bit kick to cut through.
Price wise, it is a little higher than regular Nados, much higher than GYG, and about the same as Grilled.
Flavour and the food quality are both above the previous 3.
Portion size wise, the roll is big enough to feed a normal girl, but I’ve seen guys ordered about 2.5times as much to make it a meal.
I will probably come back again after next hiking.

Not a lot of seating, which was all outdoors. Mainly catered towards pick up/drive through

We love coming here for our weekly take out! Better than KFC and filling too. Service is great and really try to make sure everything is to perfection.
Great work. Will keep coming back.

The time from order to pick was fast. Food is the same as other branches. Delicious and full of flavour.

Think KFC- McD. Then eat here and realise how good this food is. 👌

Five star review, but for the food and in-store service, not the online ordering!

El Jannah does, by a long margin, the best charcoal chicken I've had. The fried chicken is also excellent. If you want good fast food at a reasonable price I can't think of anywhere better. The in-person service is great too, at least at the Ferntree Gully store.

However their online ordering system is awful and unreliable. Two recent examples:

* We ordered 8 (!) chickens for a large family get-together. Turned up at the store in the morning to discover they'd never received the order, despite us having the email confirmation and payment receipt. Fortunately as it was early in the day, they had enough chickens to fill the order.

* I tried ordering a family feast online, but the website wouldn't let me. I called the "store number" only to get a call centre; after 20 minutes on the phone, the best they could suggest was to order a different meal (at a higher price), and add a note requesting the right meal. I ended up driving to the store; the issue was they were out of fatoush! The lady taking my order helpfully offered to substitute a tabbouleh, which I was very happy with (the salads are great too!). They even chucked in a couple of pieces of fried chicken by way of apology for the wait.
