El Jannah Box Hill was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy with that delicious smoky taste, and the garlic sauce was honestly next level. The chips were crispy, and everything came out hot and well presented. What made the visit even better was the excellent service from Dwo. She was friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything was spot on. Her positive attitude and great customer service made us feel valued and added so much to the overall experience. It’s not often you come across service this genuine and professional. Big thanks to Dwo and the team at El Jannah Box Hill definitely coming back again.

The new Box Hill store is a cut above my experiences with the Hawthorn and Mitcham locations. They're off to a very good start here, got the $5 quarter chicken special on opening day and the chicken and chips were hot fresh and tasty, garlic sauce was great as always. A very good feed for $5 let alone the usual price. Look forward to coming back!

Amazing food and staff, especially the customer service from Ines. I couldn't find a table for myself due to high volume of people but she arranged one for me when she saw me waiting. Great quality of chicken as well, fries were a bit soggy but overall, loved it.

I placed an online order and the wait was 12 minutes - which is really quick. Arrived to pick it up and it was ready and waiting and nice and hot. Also, it was the correct part of the chicken I requested and cut as per my order.This hasn't always been my experience at another location. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

You can't beat the opening special $5 chicken n chips with a drink. The chicken was properly seasoned, both the white and dark meat was tender. Not rubbery or bland like some other local charcoal chicken stores. Recommended. Just hope to Allah that they maintain this standard because other El Jannah stores' quality have gone down the drain.

Always great to get a brand new shop in the area. Saw it out the window on the way home from work and picked up takeaway. Was way tastier than expected, and a good price for 2 people, with one large chips being more than enough to share. We got a 1/4 chicken (breast) and I got the chicken wrap (mixed chicken), as well as tabbouleh. Everything was hot and delicious, wrap was massive, and the tabbouleh was very fresh and lemon-y. Definitely want to try the wrap again and upgrade to just the chicken breast, as I tried the 1/4 breast chicken too and it was delicious and juicy. Not getting 2 full combos and sharing the chips and can, ours came to just over $40, so significantly cheaper than Schn**z (and a lot closer). Being new, the store is also clean and looks great, lots of seating, large serving area. Also has self-ordering touch-screens if you prefer that. Easy off-street parking in the back streets. Overall, we both loved it (more than anticipated) and will definitely eat here again.
