El Jannah (Newtown) Chicken Shop

Dined today. March 16,2025 Sunday.
I want to commend the service team. The guy on the counter was nice; and especially the one who runs the food. They are both accomodating and they really provided a good service and exceeded our expectations.

I ordered some delivery for my daughter and friends which was delivered on time but it was the wrong order.

On my way home I stopped at the restaurant in crows nest to point this out. The team and Manager at the restaurant were outstanding and amazing . I was only after some items that I ordered that were missing from the wrong order but the restaurant provided a whole order to me within a couple of minutes for which I am very grateful.

Five star outstanding service to fix up the error by the delivery partner.

Big thank you to El Jannah Crows Nest. I ordered for the family dinner pick up via the website (Sat 22nd Feb) and when I turned up, I had made a pretty big mistake with my ordered.
The manager fixed it for me without hesitation, took care of everything.

I am a total convert! Used to go for Chargrill Charlie exclusively but El Jannah chicken tastes WAYYYYY better and I personally
prefer their side dish options over CC options. I wish they’d open one near me (Bondi Junction **nudge nudge**).

Reeya always offers a fantastic service with a smile. Sometimes I think the service is why the food tastes so good. Keep it up to you and your awesome team!

I find this el jannah interesting cause it has a bit of a different vibe to the ones in the west. It seems like almost a modern fast food restaurant/cafe, not the chill, home-style feel that I feel in the other el jannahs. Maybe it’s because, when we went, most of the customers were actually office workers (which isn’t a surprise due to the location).

The service was decent and relatively quick. It was table service, which also felt kinda weird hahah. They did mess up our order a little bit but that’s all good. The food itself was good. It didn’t feel as good as previous el jannahs that I’ve had, but still the same garlic sauce and charcoal chicken. Surprisingly, I liked the pickles a fair bit. The presentation was good and I can’t complain.

Overall, I’d come here again. Despite feeling different to most el jannahs I’ve been to, when it comes down to it, it’s still good chicken with that special sauce. Can’t go wrong with that.

It's new, so it's good right now. Time will tell if they can retain the quality and the cleanliness.

It's been 7 months since I wrote the revie, and this is still the best "fast did so shop" I've ever visited. Well thought out overall, kitchen is open for all to see, it's clean, clean, clean, she the food and service are great. Fantastic!

Teriffic chicken, some of the tastest around. Garlic sauce is also great.
