El Jannah (Baulkham Hills) Chicken Shop

Was quite busy when we went here for dinner but food is always good. A bit hard to get parking and only outdoor/patio seating options so not the best for extreme weather

El Jannah in Baulkham Hills, Sydney, is a must-visit destination for lovers of authentic Lebanese charcoal chicken. Known for its mouthwatering flavours and generous portions, the restaurant consistently delivers a satisfying dining experience, whether you’re eating in or taking away. On our recent visit, we opted for takeaway and picked up a delicious spread: their signature charcoal chicken, fresh tabouli, creamy hommous, rich babaghanouj, garlic sauce, chilli sauce, and warm Lebanese bread.

The charcoal chicken was perfectly grilled—succulent inside with that irresistible smoky, crispy skin. It’s the hero of the meal and pairs beautifully with their garlic sauce, which is smooth, potent, and addictive. The tabouli added a refreshing crunch and zest, providing a great balance to the richness of the chicken and sauces. The hommous was silky and earthy, while the babaghanouj had a lovely smoky depth that stood out on its own.

What made the meal especially enjoyable was assembling our own wraps. Tearing a piece of the soft Lebanese bread, adding slices of chicken, spoonfuls of hommous, tabouli, a touch of garlic and chilli sauce—it was hands-on, flavourful fun. Each bite delivered a burst of textures and taste, from the tangy freshness of the salad to the warm, savoury notes of the meat and dips.

The takeaway packaging was efficient, keeping everything warm and fresh. It’s perfect for family meals or gatherings with friends. El Jannah offers great value for money with generous portions that rarely disappoint.

Overall, the Baulkham Hills El Jannah stands out for its quality, consistency, and the engaging experience of building your own wraps. It’s comfort food at its best—vibrant, satisfying, and deeply enjoyable. A definite go-to when craving something hearty, delicious, and shareable.

This store is amazing. They always deliver food with good quantity. And always their food is fresh.

Parking a bit difficult but great location otherwise and excellent quality food

Edit still love it but being noticing in person and on reviews that the health and safety regarding the chicken is degrading, sometimes smells funny the next morning from takeaway and even in person as of late. Haven't got sick yet but after seeing other reviews and noticing the chicken dosentt seem to be looked after like it used to is concerning. It's like they hanging onto to cook the chicken on its expiry. I understand you may be saving money business wise but from my suspicion and others reviewsait should definitely be looked into by a representative as wouldn't won't people turned away from this amazing franchise let alone I don't want to be put off eithier. Will update if ever get ill or notice further decline. I mean no ill intent just want my favourite establishment to continue good standards.

Very fast service and delicious food 😋

You couldn't possibly go wrong with anything off their menus. Very tasty and fresh. Good service too.

Dined there Friday night, food was delicious as always.

But what was really superior was the service we received from Joesph. He was incredibly attentive, anticipated customers needs, VERY friendly and polite. Truly the best service I have had in years!

Honestly the best option if you’re looking for fast food. Always flavourful, good quality, staff are always really friendly and never had any issues.
