We were regulars in El Jannah at Auburn Sydney, and it's finally good to see an El Jannah in Melbourne (their very first one in Victoria)
Taste: The taste is exactly the same as the one in Sydney. This shows the consistency of the product. For those who are new, please ensure you definitely the garlic dip and pickles they are the best you can ever get, not to mention their signature dish the charcoal chicken.
Range: I found the range in Melbourne to be more than the ones in Sydney (however this was beech until 2018, post that I have been in Melbourne). However upon checking with friends, I found out the range has extended in Sydney as well.
Core difference and convenience: There is driveway in Melbourne, however trust me there is a big queue so please keep this in mind. It would be better to park on the streets and buy what you need for a be quick service.
Staff: Staff are diverse from different backgrounds, consistent to their Sydney branches, very nice and friendly. I found some of the staff didn't know much of the culture and tradition of El Jannah, it would be good if all of them would be briefed on different branches across multiple states and it's popularity.
What to buy: If you are not sure what to buy then definitely go get the wholemeal package which consists of
1 Whole Chicken
1 Large amazing best quality chips
1 garlic dip
1 pickles/tabouleh/coleslaw
1 kuboos/pita bread
No drink
I haven't tried their burgers or fried chicken. I'm sure they be as appetizing and ambrosial as the whole chicken.
