The simple answer is: no. We love walk-ins. So wander in when you and your friends and family are ready to share an El Jannah feast. We will do our absolute best to find you a seat at one of our tables so you can enjoy our legendary chicken and the rest, together.

What shifts are available at El Jannah?

Do I need any previous experience?
Although preferable, previous experience is not essential. The EJ way is all about finding the right people for the right role. When you join our team, you become part of the family.
What do I need to bring to my interview?
Other than a keen and willing attitude? Just a few documents to ensure we can find the right fit for you within our EJ fam. Any of the following documents in their OG form is great:
- Up-to-date Resume
- Australian or New Zealand Passport
- Australian or New Zealand Citizenship Certificate and Photo ID
- Certificate of Evidence of Australian Citizenship and Photo ID
- Australian Birth Certificate

How long is the interview?
How long is a piece of our legendary charcoal chicken? Just like our interviews, it varies. Some interviews will be one-on-one, typically up to 15 minutes long, whilst others can be conducted within a group setting, anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes. Either way, there’s no need to stress. You’ve got this!
What type of training and support is provided to El Jannah staff?
We’re not called the El Jannah family for just any reason. Feel supported, be supported and gain the confidence you need to tackle all your responsibilities successfully. How long in advance can I order catering?
You can plan your feast ahead of time with online orders available up to 7-days prior to your event. We don’t know if you’ll be able to wait that long though #IYKYK

Is there a minimum order quantity or spend for catering?
To get the most out of your flavoursome feast, we recommend you have at least 20 hungry feeders, or a minimum spend of $300. If you find yourself slightly short of these numbers, know that EJ still has a soulful menu for you, via order.eljannah.com.au
How do I order?
We keep it simple and real. Feast your eyes on our mouth-watering menu, click the Order Now button and simply follow the steps, to take your tastebuds to paradise.
Can I order directly from the store for catering?
Our served and shared catering service is currently available through online only. For hungry numbers over 100, please get in touch, and one of our helpful EJ team members will be in contact with you faster than you can say “legendary charcoal chicken”.
Are plates and cutlery supplied by EJ?
No… But we’re making more room in your catering bag for good, large portions of your favourite food that’s meant to be shared. You’re welcome.
Can I pick and mix different menu items in my order?
You know it! Pick and mix to your heart’s content. The options from our Lebanese-Australian soul food menu are endless.
How much notice do I need to provide for my order?
We take catering orders up to 4pm the day before you feast. What a legendary team, right?!
Will you deliver the food to us?
To serve our cult-following far and wide, our catering menu is currently pick-up only. Delivery can be requested from selected stores only. Please contact your local EJ store directly to see if this option is available for you. Either way, our legendary charcoal chicken and famous garlic sauce is within reach.
Can I collect my order from any EJ store location?
El Jannah catering is currently available to order online, with pick up at our Newtown and Baulkham Hills stores currently in the works. Simply select one of these during the ordering process, and we’ll do the rest.
What payment options do you offer?
We take online payment of Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay (you know we bring you options, so that you can enjoy your feast).
Can I cancel my order?
We know plans change, we’ve got you! To ensure none of our mouth-watering menu goes to waste, and we are able to process your refund in full, please ensure your catering order is cancelled at least 24 hours before your order is ready. Contact our Customer Service Team ASAP on 1800 491 838.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?

How do I check serving sizes?
El Jannah makes it easy to find out how many legendary charcoal chicken’s, famous garlic sauce and fresh sides will feed your group. Simply look at the top of each menu item description and see our hungry feaster’s suggestion size… because good food and good portions should never be complicated.
Can I pay a deposit and pay the rest on collection?
To enjoy every last bite of our simple, soulful menu, payment needs to be made in full.
Is there going to be staff to help me put the food into my car?
The El Jannah family are always here and ready to help. One of our staff members will be happy to place those legendary goods in the car, upon request.
Is the food going to be hot when I collect it?
We like our food like we like our charcoal, HOT. Every catering order will feature the classic unique and adored flavour, fresh and hot to collect.
What if I need to modify/cancel my order after I’ve paid?
No need to feast any more? No worries. Simply contact our Customer Service Team ASAP on 1800 491 838, or call your catering store within 24 hours of your order pick-up and your delicious order will be cancelled, with a full refund issued to you via your initial payment method.
